MINECRAFT BUILD ADVENTURES (Grades K-5)

Get ready for weeks of creativity, collaboration, and block-building fun! In Minecraft Build Adventures, students will explore exciting themed challenges, enjoy open-ended creative time, and participate in structured mini-games—all within a safe and guided environment.
Each week introduces a new adventure theme like Design and build your dream house or base, Create a zoo, farm, or wild biome habitat, Build an obstacle course or maze for classmates to try, and more! This class encourages imagination, confidence, collaboration, and creativity—perfect for young builders who love turning big ideas into exciting Minecraft worlds! Minecraft logins will be provided. Max: 8 
Requirements: iPad - bring your own or use one of ours.

LEGO BLOCK BUILDING WORKSHOP (Grades K-5)

​Get ready for a hands-on, imagination-powered LEGO building experience! In this challenging LEGO Block Building Workshop, children will design and complete a series of fun mini builds, exploring a new theme each week such as animals, vehicles, buildings, and creative inventions. Each session begins with a guided build to introduce basic construction techniques, followed by open-ended building time where students are encouraged to add their own creative twists. This workshop is perfect for LEGO lovers of all experience levels—whether your child enjoys following step-by-step designs or inventing something totally new. Creativity, confidence, and collaboration are at the heart of every build! Students will take home their mini-builds at the end of the session!  Max: 10

MINECRAFT CODING & GAMES (Grades 2-6)

In this action-packed class, students will learn how to code inside Minecraft while also sharpening their competitive skills through fun player-versus-player challenges. Students will explore the fundamentals of coding by creating custom mini-games, modifying gameplay mechanics, and experimenting with commands and logic systems. As they build, they’ll develop problem-solving skills, computational thinking, and confidence in bringing their ideas to life. Alongside coding, students will jump into thrilling PvP games where they’ll practice teamwork, strategy, and quick decision-making in a safe and supervised environment. Games include Bed Wars, Spleef, Capture the Flag, KitPVP, Block Hunt, and more. Perfect for beginners and experienced players alike, this class encourages creativity, collaboration, and a love for both coding and gaming. Minecraft logins will be provided. Max: 8

​Basic Python Programming 501 (online via Zoom)

​Basic Python Programming BPP 501 (Grades 4-6)
Available: Levels 1-2 

​This 15-hour course introduces students to write code using Python for simple animations. Students will learn to read the requirements, design, code, run, test, and debug their program. Students will become familiar with syntax (operators), variables, if and if/else statements, loops, functions, control structures, top-down design, decomposition, debugging, testing, commenting and indenting code.  
​​​Requirements: Hardware: laptop; Software: Updated version of Chrome

Basic Python Programming BPP 502 (Grades 6-8)
Available: Levels 1-2

​This course is recommended for students who have completed Introduction to Basic Programming BPP 501 course. We begin with basic console interaction and quickly dive into control structures, functions, exceptions, data structures, and string manipulation. Students engage in building interactive projects on the web browser from creating databases to building games or generating random passwords. ​
​​​​​Requirements: Hardware: laptop; Software: Updated version of Chrome. ​Prerequisite: BPP 501 (preferred)

​Minecraft Adventure Games w/Miss Sou

Grades 1-6
Minecraft Adventure Games encourage teamwork, critical thinking, and digital creativity while providing a balance of free-building fun and structured learning. Players explore, build, and survive in survival or creative modes, and play mini-games such as Capture the Flag, Spleef, Bed Wars & more! We will collaborate on projects or compete in building challenges in a fun learning environment. Whether crafting, coding, or exploring, campers will leave with new skills in game design and programming. Minecraft devices & logins will be provided.

Grades 2-5
Calling all young gamers and creators! In this exciting Video Game Adventure club, kids in grades 2-5 will learn to design, code, and play their own games using two interactive applications. This hands-on club blends creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork to bring game ideas to life! Perfect for beginners and young coders, this club encourages creativity and a love for technology in a fun, supportive environment.

Pokemon Slime & Crafts w/Miss Sou

Grades K-6
Join us for a creative adventure filled with painting, slime-making, and all things Pokémon! Students will bring their favorite Pokémon characters to life as adorable Squishmallow-style canvas paintings and explore the art of making colorful, textured slime. We'll start by painting beloved Pokémon characters like Pikachu, Piplup, Charizard, and Snorlax as adorable Squishmallows on a 12”x 12” canvas, following simple, step-by-step instructions. Then, we’ll get our hands gooey in slime-making workshops! Learn how to craft vibrant, textured slimes in various colors and styles, and customize them with glitter, foam beads, and scents. This class blends art, creativity, sensory play, and Pokémon fun—perfect for young trainers and budding artists who love hands-on activities and imaginative projects!
